Age Co Motor Breakdown Insurance includes Roadside and Home service at a £69 per annum rate. It offers the following:

  • 24/7 assistance
  • £75 a day for alternative means of transportation in the case that you are stranded as a result of a stolen or damaged key.

Windscreen cover at Age Co / Age UK

Age Co provides the unlimited windscreen cover in its comprehensive insurance policy and it includes the following:

  • cover for sun roof and hood mechanisms
  • cover for windows and windscreens unless made of glass.

Motor legal protection at Age Co / Age UK

Age Co provides Motor Legal Protection as an optional extra and the following are included in this option:

  • £100,000 of cover for legal costs if there is a 50% chance that the claim would be successful

Age Co offers the courtesy car with the comprehensive cover and this provides a substitute car for the driver in the case of an accident or theft. The car is to be provided for 14 days.

No-Claim Bonus (NCB) at Age Co / Age UK

Protected No Claims Discount is given if you have at least four years No Claims Discount and have not made more than 1 fault claim in the past 3 years.

Claims made for windscreen repairs would not affect your No Claims Bonus.

At Age Co / Age UK, you can apply for the NCB protection. The NCB protection allows you to make a certain number of claims within a period without losing your No-Claim bonus.

How to cancel your car insurance at Age Co / Age UK?

You can always cancel your car insurance policy at any time. However, some fees may apply especially if you cancel it after the 14 cooling-off period after your contract's anniversary date.

Since car insurance is a legal requirement, Age Co / Age UK as well as other insurers will renew your policy automatically at the end of the policy period without any notification from your side. However, Age Co / Age UK has the obligation to send you a renewal notice within 7 to 21 days before your contract comes to an end. You will therefore have 14 days - the cooling off period - to cancel your policy at reduced cancellation fees.
