Nissan Care Extended Warranty, is it worth it?

Nissan owners have the option to extend the factory warranty once it expires by paying additional fee.

It’s very hard to say whether you would need or not to extend your Nissan warranty cover. According to us, getting an extended car warranty for is particularly useful for owners who:

  • have an expensive vehicle with potential high repairing costs (such as brand new powerful vehicles in high insurance groups or automatic cars for instance)
  • hit the road above average
  • can not afford to pay any unforeseen expense in case unexpected problem occurs.

If your Nissan’s approaching 3 years old and warranty’s nearing it’s expiration, worry no more as you will still be at peace with Nissan Care Extended Warranty.

Don’t forget that warranty cover has nothing to do with insurance. A warranty covers vehicle break down and garage costs. In order to get on the road, you will need to insure your car first! That is a legal requirement.

You can insure your car either at Nissan or shop around to compare more can insurance policies.

Our recommendation on Nissan car warranty

Nissan’s factory warranty doesn’t last long. You will quickly be responsible for the cost of any repairs. Purchasing an extended warranty can protect you from unexpected repair costs and would therefore be the option we recommend.
