Is Aviva a good car insurance company?

3,9 Safe overall rating for Aviva car insurance

The wide range of cover services that Aviva provides makes it a very highly recommended services. All possible car insurance covers are provided by this company at customer friendly prices and with discounts. Also, the site is informative and can be easily navigated. There is a presence of a chatbot for easy and quick responses to questions asked by customers. Apart from the bad ratings received on TrustPilot, the company has a lot to offer and is recommended.

In addition to typical car insurance coverage choices, Aviva offers, among other options:

Breakdown cover

Aviva provides cover for your car, regardless of who's driving it when it breaks down. There are four levels of cover but the breakdown cover option is not available with Basic cover. In the case of a breakdown, repair, alternative transportation methods and accommodation arrangements up to £150 are provided when needed.

Windscreen cover

  • Claim on windscreen, window or sunroof doesn't affect NCB.
  • The cover option is only available on the Regular and Premium insurance plans.

Motor legal protection

In the case of an accident, Aviva provides legal support for the driver. If you have an accident, support is provided for any passengers who were in the car at the time. This cover option is optional for the other two covers but it is included with the premium cover.

Personal injury policy

Financial security is assured if you, or your spouse or other named drivers are injured in an accident in a car insured with Aviva. This option is however not available with Basic cover.

Besides main car insurance coverage, you can also get extra car insurance options at Aviva. Get to know more, read our complete review on Aviva car insurance.
