3,6 Safe overall rating for Post Office home insurance

The Silver cover is poorly rated by Which. The plan gives access to average features and benefits for both building and contents insurance although you can get up to £200 000 for alternative accomodation under building insurance policy. Blockage of sewer pipe cover is not included in the Silver plan (but is in the Premier) unlike many other policies. Same for graduit build-up of groundwater. The contents insurance does not cover items temporarily removed from home but cover accidental damage made to home entertainement equipment as standard. The Premier level of cover for building insurance also provides unlimited alternative accomodation cover and up £30 000 for valuable items limit.
