Sainsbury's Bank plc is authorised by the Prudential Regulation Authority and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority and the Prudential Regulation Authority. The pet insurance that Sainsburys provides is sold, underwritten and administered by Pinnacle Insurance plc.
Sainsbury offers three levels of cover which are the LIfetime, Time limited and Maximum benefit cover options. For the Time Limited pet insurance cover, illness or injury is covered for a 12 months period or up to a maximum of £3,000. The Maximum benefit option provides £7,500 vet fees worth of cover, unlimited length of cover per condition, treatment limit of up to £1,000, up to £1,000 limit for physiotherapy and up to £250 for behavioural treatment. The Lifetime insurance option provides up to £2,500, £5,000 or £7,500 of cover per year, which automatically renews every year and can cater for new or ongoing/chronic conditions.
