The PDSA is one of the most well-known and respected animal charities in Britain. They have cared for the nation’s pets for nearly 100 years with their clinics, hospitals and expert advice. They also provide pet insurance, based on the expertise developed over their decades of service.

PDSA offer 6 levels of pet insurance cover which are the Accident Only which offers £2,000 cover worth of cover in the case of an accident. The Accident Only also includes £1,000,000 third party liability cover, £200 death from accident cover and £250 for holiday cancellation.

Classic offers £2,000 worth of cover for vet fees, £1,000,000 third party liability cover, £500 death from accident cover and £500 for holiday cancellation; £500 death from accident or injury; £500 of boarding fees.

The other cover options are comprehensive and offer a wide range of services.

The Advanced cover option provides £1,500 worth of cover for vet fees; £1,000,000 third party liability cover, £500 death from accident cover and £500 for holiday cancellation, £500 death from accident or injury; £500 of boarding fees.

The Advanced Plus cover provides £3,000 worth of vet fees, £700 for death from accident or injury; £1,000,000 third party liability cover, £700 loss by theft or straying; £700 boarding fees; £250 loss pet passport; £700 holiday cancellation; and £150 quarantine expenses.

Ultimate provides £4,500 worth of cover in terms of of vet fees, £1,000 for death from accident and injury; £1,000,000 third party liability cover; £1,000 boarding fees; £1,000 for loss by theft or straying; £1,000 holiday cancellation; and £150 quarantine expenses.

Ultimate Plus – £8,000 worth of cover in terms of of vet fees, £1,500 for death from illness or accident; £1,000,000 third party liability cover; £1,500 boarding fees; £1,500 for loss by theft or straying; £1,500 holiday cancellation; and £150 quarantine expenses.

All policies have access to helplines like the Vet Finder Service, Bereavement Counselling helping. Some of the cover options have a 5 star Defaqto rating and they recorded a bad review on Trustpilot. Generally, their services are recommended.
