Our opinion on InsureandGo travel insurance

InsureandGo is a travel insurance specialist that was established in 2000 and is operating as a fully owned subsidiary of the international insurance company Mapfre Asistencia.

InsureandGo travel insurance is known for offering good standard packages at highly competitive prices as well as a range of specific travel insurance products such as cruise and winter sports. There is no upper age limit. However, if you are above 66 or have a medical condition, have a look at the small print of the terms and conditions booklets we have added above, as you may be subject to restrictions that could invalidate your claim abroad.

InsureandGo benefits from very positive reviews on both Defaqto and TrustPilot, which means that the company’s 100% claim handling process online must be quite effective. Policy information is transparent and easy to access, which also makes the company more reliable and trustworthy. Negative comments have been on the company not giving refunds for flights or travel cancelled due to the carrier defaulting or for other small expenses such as change fees.

In general, we would recommend the policy as long as the limit and excess mentioned above are in line with what you expect.
